Foxy Lady – During the 1960/70s, the de Havilland Sea Vixen’s primary role was as an all-weather fighter and Fleet defender. The aircraft had a two man crew, Pilot and an Observer and was equipped with radar, air to air missiles and rockets. As it developed in service, its capabilities increased to include bombing and reconnaissance missions. This truly great British aircraft was much liked by aircrews for its handling, strength and power. 137 is seen here lining up for recovery on HMS Eagle.
